Step aside pumpkin spiced latte there’s a new kid in town, I give you. Banana Milk Coffee. This delicious banana flavoured coffee is the new obsession this Autumn and for a good reason. It’s sweet, warm, comforting and super delicious it’s basically what you need right now.

Banana Milk Coffee Drink Recipe

Ingredient

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon plus extra for dust (optional)
  • 6.7 fluid ounces (200ml) of freshly brewed, strong & hot coffee
  • 8.4 fluid ounces (250ml) The milk I use is semi-skimmed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 very ripe banana

Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas in a bowl with sugar until smooth with not many lumps. Add to the pan under low heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved and the banana is hot. Gradually add half of the milk until it starts steaming, remove from the heat and add to cinnamon, stir.
  2. Add banana milk to the blender and blend until it is completely smooth while gradually adding half of the milk. (High power blenders are best to ensure there are no bumps left)
  3. Divide the hot coffee into two cups and cover it with banana milk (use a filter when pouring milk if you don't have a high-strength blender). Top with extra cinnamon dust is desirable.
